"Nature is in a state of change and that change is the key to understanding. I want my art to be sensitive and alert to changes in material, season and weather.” -Andy Goldsworthy
Join us as we explore the world of ephemeral art. We will learn, create and play with natural materials and found objects. We will take time to wonder and reflect upon these treasures individually and collaboratively. Making ephemeral art is one of the ways we become empowered as artists. Ephemeral art is special, in part, because it is not meant to be permanent. It focuses on the process not on the product. It is an interesting blend of science, engineering, math, and temporary, open-ended, creative art. Perfect for the early childhood classroom.
*Please note you will be making an ephemeral work, so bring a camera/phone on the day to ensure you are able to record your work.
