Denise Moyes-Schnur is a coach and consultant in Early Childhood Education, and has worked in the field of Jewish Early Childhood Education for lmost 40 years. Currently she is the Director for the Jewish Resource Specialist program in San Francisco, CA. Denise also coaches 11 people in the Paradigm Project New Directors Group. Previously she was the mentor coordinator for the national Jewish Early Childhood Education Leadership program, (JECELI), and co-authored a handbook about mentoring in JECELI. In her private consulting practice Denise coaches and mentors Directors of Jewish Early Childhood Education programs, works with individual schools, and leads professional development workshops for staff.
Denise has directed a variety of Jewish preschool and Family Education programs in both Jewish Community Centers and Synagogues in the San Francisco Bay Area. She holds a Master’s Degree from Mills College in Oakland, California, in Early Childhood Leadership. Denise lives with her family in Berkeley California, and is a member of Congregation Netivot Shalom.
