Kelly Blondin is a Co-Teacher and Teacher Leader Pedagogista at Preschool of the Arts. As a teacher, she works in a looping classroom with 2-4 year old children. As a Pedagogista, she works with the teachers and specialists of 14 classrooms and both, the music and art studios. She loves teaching at PSA, and has innumerable reasons why; the work the children and teachers do together, the depth of learning occurring at every level, the embracement and celebration of the arts, the knowledge and expertise of the teachers, and the community that Preschool of the Arts has built together.
Previously, Kelly taught at the Smith College Campus School’s Center for Early Childhood Education (CECE). The Campus School CECE is a Reggio Emilia-inspired school serving children infants-6th grade. It was at this school that her love affair with the Reggio Emilia philosophy of teaching began. Kelly holds a BFA in Fine Arts and Education from David Hale Fanning College in Massachusetts.
Kelly would not have been able to follow her passion for teaching without the love and support of her husband, Darren, and her children, 8 year old twins, Piper and Mekai.
