JECELI alumni session: What is the purpose of Jewish early childhood education?Mon, March 14 - 4:00 PM
Lyndall Miller, M.A.Ed., M.A.J.Ed., M.S.Ed., is the Director of the Jewish EarlyChildhood Education Leadership Institute (JECELI), which is an intensive professional development initiative for early-career directors, assistant directors, and teacher leaders. This Leadership Institute is a partnership between JTS and HUC-JIR, and was developed in consultation with the Bank Street College of Education. Lyndall is currently directing a community-based JECELI program in the Chicago area. Lyndall’s interests lie in the area of how Jewish texts and their study can inform the culture of Jewish early childhood programs. Lyndall has been in the field of early education for almost 40 years and is now working on her Ed.D. through the Gratz College Doctoral Program in Jewish Education.
